The short version
This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what Word Search: Puzzle Game (the “App”, “we”, “us”) does and does not do with data on your device, in line with the Google Play User Data policy and the Google advertising policies.
1. What we collect
Nothing, directly. The App has no sign-up, no account system, no profile fields and no analytics or tracking SDKs of our own. We never see, transmit or store your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, photos, files, camera, microphone or browsing history.
2. What is stored on your device
The App saves your progress locally (in the app's private storage on your phone) so you can continue where you left off:
- coins, completed levels, best scores, stars and your daily streak;
- your last chosen mode and any unfinished puzzle board.
This data never leaves your device. There is no server and no database belonging to us. You can erase it at any time by clearing the app's storage in your device settings, or simply by uninstalling the App.
3. Third-party advertising (Google AdMob)
The App shows ads provided by Google AdMob — a full-screen ad after you finish a level, and an optional “watch an ad, get an extra hint” rewarded ad. Serving ads reliably requires Google to process certain device data. This is handled entirely by Google under its own privacy terms; we do not receive, see or store any of it.
Google may use, for advertising purposes only:
- Advertising identifier (Android advertising ID) — resettable or disableable anytime in your device's Settings → Google → Ads;
- Device information — model, OS version, language, screen characteristics;
- Approximate IP-derived region — used for fraud prevention and ad targeting;
- App usage events related to ads — e.g. an ad was loaded, shown, clicked or rewarded.

The App is not part of Google Play's Families program and is not directed at children.

5. Data security
Your progress data is kept in the App's private sandbox, which Android isolates from other apps by design. Ad data is protected by Google's infrastructure. We minimise data by simply not collecting any.
6. Children's privacy
The App is intended for a general audience aged 13 and above and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, and we have no reason to believe ads are served to children. Parents: on Android, Google's family linking and ad personalisation can be managed from the child's Google Account settings.
7. Your rights
Because we hold no personal data, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete on request. Any data Google AdMob processes is governed by Google's policies (links in §3), where you can reset your advertising ID, personalisation settings, or make a deletion request directly with Google.
8. Changes to this policy
If the App's functionality ever changes (a future update, a new feature), we will update this page and its effective date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy. Major changes will be reflected honestly in the Play Store data-safety form as well.
